It is bad enough to read what is happening to the cattle. But this - "Veterinarians don’t know how long chemicals may remain in animals, farmers aren’t required to prove their livestock are free of contamination before middlemen purchase them and the Food Safety Inspection Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture isn’t looking for these compounds in carcasses at slaughterhouses" - shows how out of control it is in US. Good lord of course the chemicals will pass on to the consumers of beef from these cows. Their bodies will start to accumulate these poisons. Many of these chemicals are probably endocrine disrupters and may well cause birth defects. - Bob
